About Sherrie

I'm Sherrie Hewitt (some of my friends call me Sher or Sherz). I'm 24 years old and the only girl between three brothers. I recently completed my studies at the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and will be admitted to the practice of law in Guyana in October. 

I LOVE dancing and reading and I have an undying love for the performing arts!

In August 2016, I began my career as a Legal Officer within GUYSUCO Inc. In this male dominated profession of law I am determined to make a mark and be successful as a Caribbean girl. I believe that as women and girls we are a lot more powerful than we often give ourselves credit for. We have the ability to overcome all adversities and be anything we want to be with a little hard work, determination and sometimes a little elbow grease.

I hope to inspire and empower as many girls as possible across Guyana and the Caribbean to be their best selves and to always reach for the stars and chase after their goals!
